Three filmmakers take up the gauntlet

Three short movies from young, talented Asian moviemakers will be shown for the first time at the Made in Holland program, as part of the Amsterdam CinemAsia Film Festival in co-operation with Binger Filmlab.

On the day of their premiere, the three movies will only just have dried up - the production process was short and intensive, a real challenge for the makers. The submitted scenarios have been filmed under supervision of experienced mentors (directors Yan Ting Yuen, Doris Ng and Djie Han Thung), and producers from the Nederlandse Film Academie. The Binger Filmlab has provided film equipment and an editing studio to complete the movies .

Thursday, April 6 , from 4 pm, the end results will be screened at the Binger Filmlab in Amsterdam. Afterwards, the moviemakers will discuss the making of the movies and the end results with a moderator, and answer questions from the viewers.
