Regi, a rich Indonesian politician’s daughter, rebels against her abusive patriarchal family by getting involved with a young heroin junky Vela and her dealer boyfriend Rajib. Taken by both Vela and the drugs, she attempts to help Vela at the same time trying to escape her own demons. Even their love for each other is not enough to save them; the world of drugs, dealers and prostitution tears the young lovers apart as they resort to desperate measures to survive.

Moody cinematography, steamy lesbian sex scenes and high production value made this hard-hitting film a provocative crowd pleaser in Indonesia. The film is an adaptation of the bestseller “Jangan Beri Aku Narkoba” (Don’t give me drugs) by Albertine Endah who also wrote the script.
